Mrs. Prudence Sefularo is a seasoned entrepreneur who has gone through a rigid training in becoming a professional food scientist and a business leader in a male dominated profession, and her success was born out of day-by-day hardships which intern built her strength. She has in a process developed a number of empowerment ventures in the food & technology environments. As an active director of P AND M Fresh Produce (Pty) Ltd, she is responsible for growing the business and to ensure that it makes a mark in the market place. Her passion is to see women playing a meaningful role in the food industry within the Southern African and the entire African Continent. In 2009 she worked for QPRO International as a Food Controller, in 2009 – 2010 she worked for Air chefs International Company as a 'Quality Assurance Controller', in 2011 she attained a position as a 'TEMP Quality Controller' with Grayston Fruit & Veg Company, and in 2012 she worked for Select a Salad as a Quality Assurance Controller. Her eleven years of experience in the food and Technology industry has thus far proven that women can really become business leaders and pioneers who champion community development initiatives to make South Africa better for all.
